One of Batman's most trusted allies. Batman relies on Commissioner Gordon as both a confidant and a useful source of information. Gordon, meanwhile, depends on Batman when the "Long Arm of the Law" proves too short.

The hardest-working cop in Gotham City, and always by the Commissioner's side. Also heads up the GCPD Anti-Lunatic Squad. Often frustrated by the many puzzles and tricks offered by Gotham's super-villains.

One of Gotham City's elite because her nephew is Dick Grayson, the ward of millionaire Bruce Wayne. Devotes much of her time to work with community groups, such as the Gotham City Film Decency League, and the Gotham City Gourmet Society.

Barbara Gordon takes after her father, Commissioner Gordon. In her daily life, Barbara is a student at Gotham State University. Her academic skills are matched only by her gymnastic ability, which she utilizes to her full advantage as Batgirl.

Batman's arch-nemesis, The Joker is the worst kind of evil villain. Not only is he smart, devilish and cunning... he's also stark-raving mad! It was an unplanned encounter with a vat of chemicals that turned the Joker's skin chalk-white and his hair bright green.

Name: Oswald Chesterfield Cobblepot / The Penguin

Born with a short, wobbly body and a bird like nose, Oswald Cobblepot's appearance made him an outcast in his rich, debutante family. Their rejection drove him to become violent criminal. In keeping with his family's tradition of wealth, the Penguin lives a life of crime and evil, yet executes it with his own self proclaimed high society class and style.

Edward Nygma, also known as the Riddler, undoubtedly has the highest IQ of all Batman's foes. Cold, aloof, and possessed of a steely wit, the Riddler challenges Batman to a duel of wits by leaving a trail of riddles, puzzles and cryptograms.

Catwoman has a thing for Batman. And while he hates to admit it, Batman is drawn to her "animal" magnetism. Even though they operate on opposite sides of the law, there is an undeniable attraction between them.
