Name: Bruce Wayne / Batman Actor: Adam West Profile: Prowling the streets of Gotham city by night, Batman arms himself with nothing more than technology, toughness and wits - combined with the virtually unlimited wealth of Wayne Industries. Although he has no super-powers, Batman's powers of deduction combined with his obsessive determination combine to make him one of the most feared crimefighters in the world.

Name: Richard "Dick" Grayson / Robin Actor: Burt Ward Profile: Dick Grayson's parents were murdered when he was a boy, leaving him an orphan (much like the young Bruce Wayne). Batman decided to take young Dick in, honing his skills learned as an acrobat (with his parents) into a crimefighting career.

Name: Alfred Pennyworth Actor: Alan Napier Profile: The Wayne family butler for as far back as anyone can remember, Alfred took care of Bruce Wayne after his parents were murdered. He has been the keeper of all of Batman's secrets. Bruce knows Alfred would give his life for him.

Name: Police Commissioner James Gordon Actor: Neil Hamilton Profile: One of Batman's most trusted allies. Batman relies on Commissioner Gordon as both a confidant and a useful source of information. Gordon, meanwhile, depends on Batman when the "Long Arm of the Law" proves too short.

Name: Police Chief O'Hara Actor: Stafford Repp Profile: The hardest-working cop in Gotham City, and always by the Commissioner's side. Also heads up the GCPD Anti-Lunatic Squad. Often frustrated by the many puzzles and tricks offered by Gotham's super-villains.

Name: Aunt Harriet Cooper (2) Actor: Madge Blake Profile: One of Gotham City's elite because her nephew is Dick Grayson, the ward of millionaire Bruce Wayne. Devotes much of her time to work with community groups, such as the Gotham City Film Decency League, and the Gotham City Gourmet Society.

Name: Barbara Gordon / Batgirl (3) Actor: Yvonne Craig Profile: Barbara Gordon takes after her father, Commissioner Gordon. In her daily life, Barbara is a student at Gotham State University. Her academic skills are matched only by her gymnastic ability, which she utilizes to her full advantage as Batgirl.

Name: Jack Napier / The Joker Actor: Cesar Romero Profile: Batman's arch-nemesis, The Joker is the worst kind of evil villain. Not only is he smart, devilish and cunning... he's also stark-raving mad! It was an unplanned encounter with a vat of chemicals that turned the Joker's skin chalk-white and his hair bright green.

Name: Oswald Chesterfield Cobblepot / The Penguin Actor: Burgess Meredith Profile: Born with a short, wobbly body and a bird like nose, Oswald Cobblepot's appearance made him an outcast in his rich, debutante family. Their rejection drove him to become violent criminal. In keeping with his family's tradition of wealth, the Penguin lives a life of crime and evil, yet executes it with his own self proclaimed high society class and style.

Name: Edward Nygma / The Riddler Actor: Frank Gorshin, John Astin Profile: Edward Nygma, also known as the Riddler, undoubtedly has the highest IQ of all Batman's foes. Cold, aloof, and possessed of a steely wit, the Riddler challenges Batman to a duel of wits by leaving a trail of riddles, puzzles and cryptograms.

Name: Selina Kyle / Catwoman Actor: Lee Meriwether, Julie Newmar Profile: Catwoman has a thing for Batman. And while he hates to admit it, Batman is drawn to her "animal" magnetism. Even though they operate on opposite sides of the law, there is an undeniable attraction between them.
